The meaning of life…or is it?

Hello, Have you questioned the meaning of life? Well I have, and I’ve discovered that it doesn't have a meaning. What I’m saying is, that just life doesn't have a meaning. It’s what you make of it, it’s what you want it to be. It doesn't have a meaning till you give it a meaning. It’s just like in math with the independent variable, and the dependent variable. You are the independent variable, and your life is the dependent variable. How you decide to move ahead will affect your meaning of life. So life has no meaning till you give it to one. Going through some hard times

 Hello,

My name is Aarohi Sharma(Uh-row-he sh-ur-maa). I’m currently in middle school and have a dream of reaching out to millions of people. Here I want to talk about my struggles as a pre-teen, and working my way through them. I want to prove to people they aren’t alone, and that I’m here for them.

So let’s start off with what’s happened since the beginning of middle school, so just a couple days after middle school there where some changes in me. Personally, it didn’t feel weird or disgusting, I mean most people put it that way. But it didn’t feel like that, instead, after I got it I felt a ball of anger growing inside me. I don’t know where it came from or how it got there. I was just angry. I fought with my friends a lot, and every little thing anyone did offended me. After a couple months of letting it out, it just disappeared. And since then I’ve been wondering why I was angry. I just assumed it was a mood change or something. But I don’t think so. What do you think?

Fri Apr 15

Fri Apr 15, today I woke up to the voice of my mom. My name on the tip of her tongue, I started almost forgetting about it being a break day. I continued with my daily routine when my mom announced that we would be going swimming. I nodded and ate breakfast which I forgot what I had, so anyway I got my bag ready and my mom put oil in my hair. Tip: if you are going swimming in chlorine white open hair, put oil in it. Then it hit us, we had to return some library books. So we collected our books and went off early morning. We dropped off the books and got a few new ones, I got one book of poetry and another about a haunted house, don’t ask me the names I do not remember, after we got our books we also decided to get DVDs. I got Harry Potter and the order of the Phoenix. My sister got Encanto, which now I believe the whole world has forgotten about, so after we got the DVDs, we left the place and drove off to the pool. When we got there me and my sister got ready and scurried our bodies into the water. We practiced our breaststroke, front crawl, and a little bit of back crawl. We dove deep down into The deep end, and we glided through the air. After like I don’t know noon we left the pool and drove back home. We ate our lunch while watching Encanto. After watching Encanto and finishing our lunch we studied our math. After we finished math, we read a few of our books, then we glued our eyes to YouTube. The time quickly shifted to supper, we decided this time we would watch Harry Potter. We watched past our bedtime. So when we finished the movie we were so exhausted, we just fell asleep when we touched our bed. Happy Easter and have a great holiday!

Thu Apr 14

Thu Apr 14, today was a goose chase! I had so much homework yesterday I had to finish so much homework, I had to stay up past my bedtime, but I have to say I never had such a meaningful sleep. Next in the morning, I woke up and did my regular stuff and it felt like seconds because then I had found myself in math. My teacher had assigned me one assignment but I’m going to get ahead of everyone and instead of one homework I’m going to work on 3 homework, well my teacher always says, it’s Clara to outdo yourself. So after math class, I went to my advisory and worked on some of the homework, and I tweaked my presentation a bit because before I know it seconds later I will be standing in front of people I don’t know, giving my heartfelt presentation. So the presentation was scary, but I got through it, thankfully. There was only one kind person! Everyone Else was giving me ones! Because my peers were supposed to grade me! Which is terrifying, and my grade will not be accurate! Which I annoying so anyway I continue my day as I walk back to my advisory, today is a reading day. So the whole room is silent, it’s so silent you can hear a penny drop, I got that from saved by the boats we had read it last year in elementary. As I’m reading, I don’t notice the time. It’s time for lunch! Which by the way is the best part of the day! Today is hot lunch day where I get hot lunch it’s usually on Fridays but we don’t have any school tomorrow because it’s Easter! I rush through the halls because I do not want to be the last person in line. Because the lunch line is huge! I grab my lunch which is a sloppy pizza and sit down. After I finish I leave to go back to advisory and catch up on my work. I scramble to finish my math, with only one. Assignment left. I rush all the way to the gym and surprisingly it was so fun! We played bolling dodgeball, we were tied, and we needed to protect our pin. We crowded around our eyes sharp as foxes watching every move of the balls, they strike fierce but we strike back fiercer at the end, it was a tie. I rush to literacy because we have to reach there in 5 min. I rush barely making it, as I sit down, my friend starts blabbering about his day. We watched CNN 10 and ended with a boolket. Which is an app sort of like Kahoot. after we finished the booklet where I came 11th place on, it was time for clubs! I had poetry club and I learned about blackout poetry where we take a page from a book and you draw out a poem. It was interesting and fun. 2 of my poems related to a hairy man, I can’t explain why, but it just happened. I hear the halls crowding as people start buzzing about, I hurry to my locker to grab my stuff. It’s the end of the school day. Tomorrow is Easter vacation!

Wed April 13

Wed April 13, today was a usual day,  I start at math, busy working on getting some assignments done while trying to ignore the booming voices of the girls "whispering" beside me, even when the teacher is like "Girls, keep it down." They giggle and say sorry! But they keep on muttering a strange language that no one can understand. After math class I went on to theater class, a couple of days ago we had chosen as a team to do the play, Alice in wonderland. I was also elected as an art director a couple of days before, today we were Choosing the role of Alice and all the other sort of main characters, for example, the queen of hearts. I sat back and watched, all of them perform, the roles they desired. All of them did better than I could ever do because this is my first time in theater and I never really acted before after all the actors acted the directors including me discussed who was the best fit! It was pretty fun, after that, I went to science and worked on my presentation, we will be performing in front of our peers tomorrow and I'm just terrified. Science is done and I'm on my way like a normal Wednesday regarding that student council has been canceled. So early lunch for me, after lunch, I walk to the computer lab to work on my typing which I’m not the best at but did improve a bit over time. I have an average speed of 21 wpm and a 93% accuracy.

after I finished my typing I took a break and did my homework for math, which I swear is a lot, she gave me 4 tasks to do! Which by the way is more homework than usual. I also had to watch a video lesson that is 40 min long for the first task! I only got through the first couple of minutes till we had to go to literacy I had to go grab my book from my locker which was a pain but hey, I was the one who left it there. I entered the classroom and sat down next to my annoying friend, he bugged me the whole day. He didn’t listen to a single word the teacher had told us, but besides him, literacy was pretty fun because we had a book talk, and I’m interested in the books that they suggested but I can’t get them now because I’m reading another book called Children of blood and bone. What we did in literacy was talk about our topic for our debate teams, I had suggested the name the flying John potato seeds but they said that it was too childish, but guess what they want it to be named the politicians! That’s so serious! I was reading my book. Like every other day, and I was minding my business and I swear when that clock strikes exactly 2:44, and I’m not kidding a monster of kids attacked the doors forcing them open and hogging the halls! I rush out to pack up because now it's time to go home, and relax!

In loving memory of Chase

 In loving memory of

Chase

As the days past my life felt as though something or someone was missing. For the first time in my life, when I was walking back home, I did not hear the soft barks my neighbor's dog always did whenever someone would walk near the house. I thought my neighbor's dog was taking a nap or he was not home. The next day I did not hear his soft barks, all I heard was silence. It was not the scary type of quiet nor the peaceful, it was the lonely type. And after those two days, My neighbor's dog was never heard from again. Soon as I was walking back to my house a little cat was watching me from my neighbor's house, and all I knew was that my neighbor's dog was up in the sky. Although I miss those lovable barks I will never forget him.

In loving memory of Chase

As long as there is love and memory there is no one true loss.

middle school

 Middle school

It is back to school. And my first day of middle school! I am thrilled about going to middle school. But it also seems a little competitive. So I better step up my game! Anyway, the first day of middle school went smoothly, Except for the whole new schedule. I do not just have one or two teachers. I have a whole bunch of teachers! Now, these are going to be hard catching names. If you want the full story then get some coffee, get comfy and recline! My dad had just dropped me off at my new school. I was worried but also excited. I had all my stuff in my locker already. So it was easy to grab my stuff. I had to improvise because it was a cramped locker. Anyway, after getting my stuff I went to math as the first subject on my schedule. There we got to know each other by playing a game of four corners. In this game of four corners, the rules are a little bit different. This one is to get to know each other. (this is an example) So each corner asks you your favorite candy brand corner one is Hershey (I would go there) corner two can be KitKat, corner three can be Recess, and corner four can be Crunch. Then the teacher asks you why you chose this one? If I am not such an invert, I would probably have said, "I chose Hershey, because of the chocolate that melts in your mouth Hershey is so soothing” When it was time to go to science I had to go back to my locker. After grabbing all my stuff for science I had to cross the hall to get to my classroom. When got entered the classroom I noticed we had allocated seats. So I could not just sit down anywhere. My place was at table 6. After everyone located their seats. We played a get-to-know game. In this game, we had to draw things from the letters of our names, like my name is Aarohi  I drew an apple, alligator, rose, ostrich, hat, and ice. Then we had to go around asking people to guess your name. It was a fun but boring game. It took so long no one had noticed the time. It almost felt like every time I left the classroom there were more people in the hallway. I got my stuff for literacy. Literacy was the nearest classroom. It was only 2 feet away from my locker. In literacy, we did another get to know each other game. So for every class, it is to get to know each other kind of game. So in this game, you need a hexagon sheet of paper and you have to write your name in the middle. Then you have to add lines from the corner connecting to your name. Then you have made triangles on the hexagon. On each triangle, you draw something no one can just look at you and know. Like I like the fall season. Then we showed each other trying to find out which person likes the same thing as me. It was soon the end of school. I said goodbye to my advisor Mrs.Erksion. The first day of middle school was fun but you never know. The hardest days are ahead.

July 4th

Dear Friends,

I hope you had a marvelous Independence Day along with the long weekend. For me it was gratifying. But then at the end of the day I thought to myself why do we celebrate Independence Day?

Let me share what I know and read.

4th July, also known as Independence Day, became a federal holiday from 1941, but the tradition of Independence Day goes back to the 18th century. It all started when the Second Continental Congress arranged a meeting in Philadelphia. They created a committee to draft the Declaration of Independence. On July 2, 1776, the continental congress (Government of thirteen colonies) voted in favor of Independence, two days later delegates from 13 different colonies adopted the declaration of independence (Document drafted by Thomas Jefferson, John Adams, Benjamin Franklin, Roger Sherman and Robert R). From 1776 to present day, July 4 is celebrated as Independence Day, with festivities ranging from fireworks, parades concerts to more casual family gathering and barbecues, we went for the latter. So, to celebrate July 4 me and my family had a blast at Little America Amusement Park. It was a roller coaster! so, hop on board and I will take you on for a ride. My dad drove us miles away from our house on July 4, 2021. I do get motion sickness, so to me it felt like we were traveling to another city. Still, it was worth the wait. When we got out of the car my legs felt free. I stretched them out like I was getting ready for a jog. It took me and my sister a while to get all stretched up and ready to go. My parents were already on the move. We rushed up to them. Soon we made our way to the ticket counter. My dad had gotten us tickets. After getting the tickets we started roaming around the amusement park. When it hit us. We did not have lunch. So, we quickly had our lunch at the nearest subway. It was delicious and appetizing. After lunch, we headed back to Little America

We scampered around looking for the first ride we were going to do. My dad suggested that me and my sister should go on the Mad mouse. It was a roller coaster which had many twists and turns. I loathe roller coasters. But I went anyway. My sister and I handed tickets to the man who controlled the roller coaster. He scurried over to a smooth black cart. “The little one has to sit in the front, and you have to sit in the back.” The man said. I sat in the cart first then my sister joined in. We were soon off and away. The roller coaster was zooming fast. It made me dizzy and whenever it went down, I used to get a strange feeling in my tummy. After the roller coaster, Me, and my sister rushed back to our parents. Next stop we went to the Merry-Go-Round. I opted for a brown horse and my sister went for another horse a behind me, it was a fun experience. After that we went over to the monorail. It is a beautiful yellow cart with a great view of the park. Me and my sister handed a woman the tickets and hopped into the cart! “Have a great trip.” Said the lady. She pulled a lever, and we went off and away. We slowly rode around the park, noticing different rides. I suggest you go on this first to get a glimpse of which ride you want to go in next. As soon as we got off the cart, we knew exactly which ride we wanted to go to next. We headed over to the twirl-A-whirl. We gave a man our tickets. After giving him our tickets, we hurried over to a huge chair which would probably be able to hold 4 people. There was a bit of a line, so we had to wait for everyone to give the man their tickets. After a long wait the chair started turning. It started slow, then picked up pace after every minute of the ride. It was frolic! Me and my sister could not stop laughing until the ride ended. After we got off the ride. I wanted to go to the haunted house. This time our parents tagged along. We handed a man tickets and entered the house. In the “haunted house” there were these pressure plates. If you stepped on one it would make a loud sound. But the bad part is there are no windows nor lights so we could not see where we were stepping and where we needed to turn. I suggest that if you are going to Little America Amusement Park please go to the haunted house at your own risk. It is not haunted! Rather it is a dark room and we had to grope our way out and on top of it if we put our foot in the wrong place loud noise was adding to the chaos, we returned to our house after spending half a day at the Little America Amusement Park

On the same day in the evening, we decided to go and see nearby Fireworks. Since we arrived late at the firework site all parking was taken away. My dad had parked our car on the grass like other late arrivals. Me and my sister sat on the trunk of our car waiting for the fireworks. Spark boom! A noise came from the distance. The fireworks had started! We watched curiously at the radiant colors filling the night sky. It was eye catching. I took a few pictures of the fireworks. After a while, the fireworks ended. It was a beautiful sight. Well, this was not my first 4th July but then I wanted this one to be embedded in my memory.

Father's Day at The Milwaukee Zoo

Dear Friends,

This Father’s Day experience was exciting and pleasurable for me and my family. My family and a few family friends had an ADVENTURE at the Milwaukee Zoo. I tried new things and saw new animals. It was Exotic. An experience of a lifetime. I would love to share the experience with you. My sister and I were running towards our car like a mouse who saw cheese. I silently passed my dad and headed quickly towards the car, but my sister was already there making faces in front of the door window. Beep! Beep! My dad had used his keys to unlock the car my sister and I rushed inside. We buckled our seat belts. My sister was overly excited. I sat with my legs crossed and my eyes on the wheel. After a minute, my parents entered the car. They buckled their seats, and my dad started a route to the Milwaukee Zoo. I impatiently asked, “How long will it take us to get there?” My mom eyes me and says in a bittersweet type of voice “Aarohi you need to be patient we just started.” I slumped on my seat when she turned her head to face the front of the car. I slowly sat up and stared out my window watching as the car rolled through the apartments. Before a mile away I noticed the big trees full of green leaves all around. It was ecstatic to feel such beauty around. I watched flowers swaying with the wind. I did not notice the time pass by until my dad does a stop which almost made me fall off my seat. But luckily for me I had my seat belt on. My dad had taken a wrong turn, so we went all the way around the Milwaukee Zoo until we got back to the entrance. Now, I was aware of where we are and what the rest of my family is chatting about. My dad rolls over to a line of cars. Guess we were not the only ones who planned to go to the zoo that day. It was packed so the lines were long as an anaconda. There were 3 lines all packed up and waiting to get into the Zoo. Shortly after we were by the front gate of the Zoo. There was a little ticket counter. A man poked his head out. My dad pulled down the window to give the man money to enter the zoo. When the man got the money, he started counting. “. Yup! you can head right on in.” My dad pulled his Window back up. He pulled into a parking slot (he was really picky, so it took us a while to find one). He had found a shady spot, I got out of the car and onto the sidewalk I raced down to the doors of the Zoo with my sister. It was a tie. When we made it to the entry, we turned around waiting for our parents to quickly get over here. As soon as we were only a few inches apart I walked along with my parents while my sis started running in front of us. We stood near the entrance. I kept my eyes peeled for any of my friends' cars. While we were waiting for other friends to join my dad took out his phone and started taking pics of me and my sister in a different pose. While my dad was busy taking a snap, I noticed my friends' familiar white car and saw them sitting inside. I had a huge grin on my face. I watched as the white car disappeared behind clumps of cars. I waited patiently (What I mean by that is annoying my sister).  Soon after the white car's appearance I saw my friend and her family walking towards us. My parents greet them with a huge smile and say, “HAPPY FATHERS DAY!” They have a smile spreading across their faces too. They replied, “HAPPY FATHERS DAY”. The parents shook hands together while I slowly walked over to my friend to greet her. “Hey,” I say with a welcoming smile. She gives me a quick smile and says “Hi” her smile fades as she tunes into the parents’ conversation. I ask her a few questions trying to spark a conversation. Few minutes later another familiar car pops up. It parks a little closer to where we all were standing. I had gotten distracted talking to my sister. Because When I peered back, I noticed my friend jogging over with her brother calmly walking behind her. She soon reached us and had a huge grin on her face. She yelled towards us! My friend turned around and yelled back “Hey!” My friend who was jogging came to a halt. I replied “hi” with a tiny grin. She looked at me and replied “hey” she gave me a quick smile then turned to my other friend. The grownups wanted to take a few pictures of all the kids under the sign which said Milwaukee Zoo. I walked over to a bench right under the sign with the rest of the kids. Not everyone would fit onto the bench so me and my 2 friends stood behind the bench. After taking a few pictures we were finally able to go inside the zoo. When we got into the Zoo everyone's gaze fell on the Zipline. Quickly one of my friends asked “Can we do it!? Please!” The parents took a while to think. Soon they said, “Why not?” The kids ran ahead reaching a stand. There was a short line who wanted to sign up to do the course or zip line. There were three courses to choose from. I cannot remember the other two. Well because I did not get to do them. My friend's dad bought tickets for everyone who opted for the zipline, and we all waited there patiently. When it was our turn for the zipline, zipline service people told us that only four can go at a time. I was one of the first four. A woman helped me put on safety gear so I won’t fall. My friend and her mom got their straps first. They started walking cautiously up the stairs.

Soon my mom and I got strapped and they instructed us how to move ahead till you reach the top which was four floors up. It was hard walking up the stairs. You would need to stretch your arms to stay on the steps you were on. As soon as I got to the top of the stairs my friend had just pushed herself off on the zipline. I was extremely nervous when I looked down, it seemed as if I was many floors up because everyone looked tiny. Now my fear was taking over me. A strange voice repeated in my head “it’s a long way down” after my friend reached safely other side of the zipline, it was my turn. I walked towards the edge where the zipline starts engulfed with fear. Initially I was hesitant but then all the shouting and cheering around for me gave me strength to push myself off the edge. Believe me guys this was my first ride, and I did not open my eyes till I reached the other end. I took a sigh of relief. A man helped me to the other side of the zipline. Another man who was a little more talkative asked “How was it? You seemed a bit scared, but I bet you feel a lot braver now.” With the voice still ringing in my head no way. I calmly said “No, but I did enjoy it a little I think.”

“Well…at least you enjoyed it,” said the man looking at the other side of the zipline. I walked forward very slowly then I felt a tug. The man had pushed me right off. I was zooming away. This time I chose not to shut my eyes because though the ride was uncomfortable, the safety gear was pressing on me tight. I gazed around while I was speeding towards the other end. Honestly, it was a lovely view, but I couldn't enjoy it because of the safety gear making me uncomfortable. I carefully landed my feet on the hardwood and a woman helped me get off the zipline. I rushed down. The woman who helped me put on the gear came up to me and asked, “Was it fun?”

“Yes, but I was still nervous.” I replied as she showed the gear off. I walked back to the gate when the woman exclaimed “2 more people can come now.” My friend and her dad quickly pushed the gate open to let me out and they could go in. My friend asked me “was it fun?”

“No and yes,” I replied nervously. I quickly walked over to my friends, she immediately asked.

“How was it?”

“Fun but I was really nervous.” I replied.

And started munching snacks brought by one of my friends' moms. Then I saw my friend taking off from the zipline, she went back a little and pushed herself off with a speed. She was zooming off to the other side of the zipline. After she got to the other side I got distracted by a female peacock. Suddenly, I felt a water drop on my arm. I looked up when another drop fell on my face. It was drizzling. The rain started getting heavy, luckily, we brought umbrellas. I saw my dad pushing himself off the zipline edge, he was just opposite of me while he was speeding towards the other end, he was waving his hand at us. I am 100 percent sure this was his first adventure on the zipline, and it never felt like that, I was amazed. He finished his zipline and walked to us as if it were nothing.

After the zipline now was the turn for the Zoo animals. At the gate we were greeted by penguins who were curiously watching us pass by. It took us a while, but we finally found the monkey exhibit. When we first entered the exhibit, we were greeted by an empty cage. We pressed our faces on the window looking for the gorillas. When my friend found them. They were in the sleeping zone. I curiously watched one, it was a gigantic creature with well-built muscles all around, suddenly it opened its eyes and believe me it was big dark and beautiful. My friends and I kept moving from one cage to another enjoying the sight of animals and making them a permanent memory. It was joyous and fun when you have friends around.

We all noticed a machine which as below.

Pay 3.00 or use debit card to get a statue of an animal.

One of my friends got interested in it and spent three dollars to get an animal statue. Slowly we moved out of the monkey cage and saw my mom gesturing at me. I peered into the cage that my mom was staring at. A cute little temple monkey, I felt like it was more curious about us then we were about him. After a while headed over to the reptiles. The mother’s stayed behind. They wanted to relax after the long walk. When we entered, we were greeted by a variety of vivacious small fishes, frogs, and snakes. I was interested to see the frogs badly because they are my favorite reptiles. My friend got lost exploring and we almost lost her. There were a few lizards in their hideouts, but none were camouflaged or anything. We even got to see one of the largest snakes in the whole world! It took us a while to get out because we were dazzled by nature's beauty. When we finally got out the moms were silently waiting for us by a small fountain. The fountain was an artistic piece by itself, it was a globe rotating by the force of water below, it took us a while to understand how it was rotating. We started looking for the different countries engraved in the globe and found our country “India” as well. Soon we started moving ahead to look for big cats, on the way we saw a beautiful creature with the longest neck, giraffes. It took me a while to gulp in that I was seeing such a beautiful animal. We all waited a while there to fill in this beauty. We finally made it to the big cats and the rain started pouring on us again. We flee into the exhibit. Drying off inside I noticed zoo management had put a tiny computer which was tracking how many people can be inside at a given time as a COVID precaution. The door was opening as per the count, we did not wait long, it was quick for all of us to be allowed in, when we entered saw the whole room was filled with cats. We peer in every cage. Pressing are faces on the glass. We saw a Lynx, lion, leopard, tiger, and panther. When we finally left the exhibit the rain was still pouring. I noticed a statue of a woman sitting on a bench with her dog and a man standing behind and smiling at them. I rushed and sat down on the bench. My dad took my picture with the statute. I didn’t realize that I was sitting on a wet bench, only felt it when I stood up to move ahead. The rain finally stopped, on the way we saw elephants, ostrich tortoises and hippopotamus. I am sure we missed many other exhibits like we never got a chance to see birds. Every one of us got tired and hungry. We headed to our cars to go for lunch because we all were starving. My dad starts the GPS to Qdoba. It was not far from here. We have gone there before once and, in my opinion, I did not like the food. It took us only like 2 to 3 minutes to get there. I rushed inside because my rumbling stomach could not stand it anymore. I waited for my turn. When it was my turn I ordered 3 cheese nachos for me and my sister. We all enjoyed the food. I can tell you we enjoyed it because we were hungry. Our parents took a long time to say goodbye to each other, so we hung out by the restaurant exploring the front side of the restaurant until we had to go. I waved goodbye to my friends as I entered my car. My eyes felt heavy from all the walking and my feet felt like bricks. Well, this was my Father’s Day Adventure, and I say I will remember it for many Father’s Day because this was my first adventure above the ground.

Hope now you know me a little bit more.

GARDEN BROTHERS NUCLEAR CIRCUS

Hello everyone,

Have you ever been to a circus? I had no prior experience of circus, and I was expecting a lot, believe me on June 12, 2021, I experienced it and it was above my expectations. The circus was very entertaining and enjoyable. All the stunts performed were risky barring few. I want to share my experience of this circus with you. So, grab some popcorn because this is going to be a wild ride. Me, my parents, and my sister were hustling past the anxious crowd of people waiting for the circus to start. We finally found a seat near to the front row so we could have a closer look at the action. We came a few minutes early, so waited for the action to begin and waited patiently. While we waited, me and my sister snapped some pictures together. Soon the speakers boomed aloud, and male voice spoke “WELCOME LADIES AND GENTALMEN TO THE GARDEN BROTHERS CIRCUS!” When he finished a few beautifully clad girls went on stage and started dancing while a man came running out from the backstage curtains. He dashed past the girls with a huge grin. The man came to a halt in the middle of the circus tent! He looked around at the crowd waving his hands. He then jumped on top of the giant wheel. I remembered what this stunt was called. The Pendulum acts on a giant wheel! Soon 2 men gripped each end of a rope which was connected to the wheel. The man on the wheel nodded this was the sign to start rolling the wheel. Right after the men rolled the rope and the wheel pushed itself up then the man started running within the wheel as he ran the wheel rolled. He was followed by oohs and ahs but what really got the crowd's attention was the stunts he pulled like he sat on the wheel as it came up. He was upside down and not a trace of fear in his attitude. He even got on top of the wheel which really got the crowd’s attention, he performed all kinds of aerobics while the pendulum wheel was rolling. From every direction I heard WOW! Everyone was dazzled by this talented man. His ending was incredible! He was on top of the wheel when he leapt right off! His smile was bigger than before. Walking past the crowd the man violently waved his hands up in the air. He soon disappeared behind the curtains. To keep everyone entertained the women came back out but with different wardrobes the women had snuck back into the curtains while the audience were busy watching the stunts, to change their clothes. Soon some men came out from the curtains to pull the giant wheel backstage. The men had to dismantle the giant wheel so that it could be moved away from the arena to the backstage. When the wheel was being rolled back a man came to the center with a huge phone. Well, the phone was not real, it was made from foam. Soon a different music started playing. The dancing girls disappeared, and a funny man came out. He was a great dancer and the audience including me were amused. It was hilarious until the Manager CAME. He yelled at the funny man “NO DANCING!” And he pressed the fake phone for the music to stop. He handed the funny man a mop and asked to clean but the audience shouted “boooooo!” The Manger mocked the audience and stuck out his tongue. He went backstage and the funny man sadly cleaned the floor until his gaze fell onto the phone. He pointed to it, asking the audience, should he press it. The audience including me, and my sister yelled “DO IT!” We made noise by stomping our feet on the metal below our seats. The funny man flung the mop and ran to the dummy phone and pressed a fake button his action started “Dance Monkey” music. The funny man started dancing wearing a monkey mask. He was all over the place. Yet again the Manager appeared and stopped the music by pressing a fake button of a dummy phone. He walked to the mop and picked it up, went straight to the funny man and snatched his mask. He showed the mop to the funny man and yelled “NO DANCING!” The audience including me got super mad and we all shouted again “BOOOOOO” the funny man sadly mopped the floor again till the Manager walked away he quickly turned his gaze back to the fake phone. He pointed at it looking curiously around! Everyone chanted. “DO IT DO IT!” banging their feet loudly on the metal. The funny man threw the mop and raced to the fake phone and started the music again, this time it was playing BABY SHARK. Someone threw a stuffed baby shark at the funny man, he caught it and started dancing to the tune. The Manager came running to the center of the arena and snatched the stuffed baby shark out of the funny man’s hand but no worries because this time someone threw a stuffed daddy shark and the funny man caught it and smacked the Manager's head this made manager furious, and he snatched daddy shark away from the funny man and threw it away he was so furious that he BROKE THE FAKE PHONE and threw the phone into the garbage. He then picked up the mop from the ground and handed it to the funny man and shouted, “NO DANCING!” The audience including me shouted “BOOOOOOO”, but the Manager did not care. He walked away from the arena and the funny man started cleaning the area. The funny man walked to the garbage to check on the phone as he opened the lid of garbage music started playing! He quickly placed the lid back on the music that had been played made the Manager run out to check on him, by the time he came to the arena the music wasn’t playing and the funny man was mopping the area. As soon as the Manager left, the funny man sniggered and opened the lid again and music started. The funny man did not notice the Manager while he was dancing but when he turned around, he quickly put the lid back on. The Manager gleefully said, “It’s ok come on dance!” and he took the garbage lid off. The Manager started dancing to the tune and the funny man followed along and they danced in a sync it was charm to watch, but the funny man had a different plan all of sudden he did a different step hit the Manager with his head and while the manager lay on the floor the funny man picked him up on his shoulder and dumped him the same garbage box and rolled that garbage box out of arena, the audience cheered him on.

My Dad, me and my sister got up to get snacks and refreshments, but my mom stayed. We headed outside to find many people having the same idea. We had to wait in a huge line to get slushies for me and my sister. They came with glass which glowed in the dark! It took a long time to reach the counter and finally we got 2 blue slushies! After slushies we went to another counter to get Lemonade for my mom and Dad! And then we went to the Popcorn counter, we grabbed some popcorn, and we were headed back in the tent the speakers boomed and a male voice said, “The show is starting!” We scurried through the clumps of people till we found our seats. My sister tapped me on the shoulder when we settled down, I turned to see what she needed. She had a huge grin on her face, and I asked, “What do you need?” She pointed her finger in the opposite direction to a huge cannon! She whispered, “it’s the cannon which launches the person!” I glanced back to the center and noticed that they were blowing up a big bouncy air mat! It almost took 11 minutes for the men to blow up the air mat! Soon after they did the spotlight had turned on and it was focused on the cannon when a man stepped right on top of the cannon hands in the air he was waving at the crowd with a huge grin on his face! First, he was giving hand signals to the men in the center. Next, he started waving to the crowd once more as he got off the cannon, looked around to check everything was as per his satisfaction and then he slipped inside the cannon. Someone shouted on the mic “Help me count down! 5…4…3…2…1…BLAST OF!” there was a loud boom, and the man was flying out of the cannon. He was in the air for a while covering quite a distance in the air before landing on the air mat! I muttered to myself “And they say humans can't fly.” It took them a couple more minutes to help the man down the air mat and let the air out. I have described only a few here, I saw a wonderful dog show, then a single man riding two horses, a lady riding a horse and pulling out unbelievable stunts. The entire audience was mesmerized when Wheel of Death started. In a globe-like cage I saw four motorbikes biking around, it was scary but then a treat to watch. We never realized how time passed suddenly, I heard a fun type of music and all the performers started pouring out waving at the audience.

Then the speakers boomed one last time and a male voice asked, “DID YOU LIKE THE GARDEN BROTHERS NUCLEAR CIRCUS!” The crowd answered with cheers and uploads. This will be a memory that I will never forget.

5TH GRADE CELEBRATION

Hello again,

Monday (7-June-2021) was a very fascinating day, because of the 5th grade graduation/celebration! What is that! you may wonder? It is a Graduation ceremony for 5th Graders! It included pizza, reading outside with blankets and it also means We GRADUATED 5TH GRADE!!!!

Well, 2 more days from Monday and the end of the elementary era, and a new chapter begins...MIDDLE SCHOOL!!! 3 days ago, I had the experience of moving ahead in life, it was very enjoyable and entertaining! Just sit back and relax, while I take you on a trip down memory lane! Starting with the pizza party. Just the sight of Pizza made my tummy grumble. The Sound of my tummy was loud enough that everyone near me might have heard it. I was not only hungry but excited too, still I was ensuring myself that I was listening to my teacher with full attention, I anxiously watched the Pizza stack put down by the Pizza person. The teacher walked up to her, and they started chitchatting, but I was too excited to care. Soon after they finished their conversation, the teacher asked us to go back to are seats as soon as we settled down the teacher came to every one of us and collected the pennies. We were experimenting how many drops of water can balance a penny's weight. Soon after the Penny were returned to the teacher, she started calling our names with a huge sparkle in the teachers’ eyes. I figured it was TIME FOR PIZZA! She handed each one of us a plate and thereafter gave everyone two slices of mouthwatering Pizza. While placing two slices of PIZZA on my plate she said, “Here you GO” With Huge grin I said, “thank you” and walked back to my seat. I waited till my best friend got her Pizza slices when she did, I pulled out my iPad and snapped a few pictures of us munching down our pizzas! Soon after we finished our first slice, the teacher passed both of us soda’s.

We Finished our delicious pizzas and took our leftover soda with us to finish later. As soon as the pizza party was over, we headed outside with our blankets and books, but rain God had another plan so we could not read our books outside, hence we went back in and found an empty air-conditioned classroom! We were allowed to read in there! we covered the whole room with are blankets while reading stories to each other! Moving ahead now it was time to collect our Elementary Graduation Certificate, following COVID-19 regulation every one of us had to be in our car lined up, so that huge gatherings can be avoided. Only one Graduated student was allowed to be standing on the platform while their family can take video or a Photo from a distance. I was in a car driven by my mom and my dad taking video of us, when my turn came, I stepped out of my car with a huge smile. My principal announced, “Here comes Aarohi Sharma”, I shook my hand with my principal and my teachers, My Principle handed me a Graduation Certificate and she yelled at aloud “you can only graduate only if you walk on the Graduation platform” and I did walk on the platform with a huge smile spreading across my face. I will never forget this celebration; now I can proudly call myself 5th Graduate or simply a 6th grader! :)
